A unique pen handcrafted from beech wood originating from the Partisan Hospital Franja, Slovenia’s secret hospital from the 2nd World War, and now a monument of humanity and solidarity. The multi-colored patterns are made by wood fungi. Its wrapping is symbolical, the string represents the seams of wounded and the three holes, that arise at the opening of the case, represent scars. This indelible history is a memory and a reminder of war times, in which this clandestine hospital was operating.
